...says Carissa Cheadle, cosmetologist.  As far back as I can remember I've always had a passion for cosmetology.  I was the girl in the neighborhood that did everyone else's hair in exchange for cool snacks, I was the young woman in college that did every woman's hair on campus for gas money and I was the woman who did hair as a hobby on the side.

My mother was a makeup artist for years so I grew up around photo shoots and models.  I would sit quietly with my brother eating a sack lunch while watching my mother transform face after face for the runway.  It's safe to say the beauty industry has always been in me.   

After an unsatisfying career in corporate America for 8 years, I decided come home.  Being a hairstylist is not just a job title for me...it is truly my gift.  My mission statement is to empower women's lives through the art of hair.  I'm looking forward to taking as many of you on this journey with me as possible.
